One of my favourite things about travelling to new cities (actually, possibly my favourite thing!) is trying out the restaurants. I have an excuse to try allllll the food – especially breakfast, my favourite meal of the day. Prague did not disappoint. In fact, Prague is the second-most vegan-friendly city in Europe, second only to the huge international hub of Berlin.
With three days in the city, my sister and I were ready to test our tastebuds in many of the vegan-friendly restaurants and cafes in the city. Usually, it’s quite easy to find something for lunch and dinner but vegan options are often lacking on breakfast and brunch menus. Luckily, we managed to find a few great places for brunch in Prague – here they are.

Café Letka
This busy brunch spot is located in district 7, an easy metro ride from the city centre or a thirty minute walk. It’s busy with locals and tourists so book a table online in advance – but don’t worry if you forget; you can be seated at the bar.
The café is small with a tall ceiling and rustic wooden tables – including one huge table where you might be seated with people you don’t know. I loved this, because there’s nothing better than connecting with strangers over great food and good conversation.
The menu features vegan, vegetarian and non-veg options so there’s something to suit everyone. We opted for the chia seed pudding, a small but filling dish, and the coffee here was possibly the best we had in the city.

Café Letka, Letohradská 557/44, 170 00 Praha 7-Holešovice

Moment
This comfy little café is located in the Praha 2 district and was recommended to me by members of the Vegan Travel Facebook Group. You can walk from the Old Town, it takes around 20-30 minutes.
The café is entirely vegan so you may want to pop back for lunch or dinner. We chose the chocolate waffles and the scrambled tofu when we visited for breakfast – both were great!
Address:
Moment Cafe, Slezská 62, 120 00 Praha 2
MyRaw Café
This little gem is situated in the Old Town, hidden in a small shopping centre of sorts. As the name suggests, most of the items on the menu are raw; all of them are vegan. There’s a huge choice here, from pancakes to porridge, and that’s just the breakfast menu! You can also grab cakes to take away for later.
Address:
MyRaw Café, Dlouhá 39, 110 00 Staré Město

Looking for a place to stay in Prague?
I stayed in a very cheap and not recommendable place in Prague which I won’t mention here; it was clean and safe but the check-in and check-out process made it a bit of a hindrance to our time in Prague. Browse the options below on booking.com for places with good reviews.

var s = d.createElement(sc), p = d.getElementsByTagName(sc)[0];
s.type = ‘text/javascript’;
s.async = true;
s.src = u + ‘?v=’ + (+new Date());
p.parentNode.insertBefore(s,p);
})(document, ‘script’, ‘//aff.bstatic.com/static/affiliate_base/js/flexiproduct.js’);
Have you visited Prague? Do you know any good vegan brunch spots? I wish I’d had longer to try out more places!
